We are just a few dudes
who want to make games.

This is the entirety of NimbleBit LLC. (picture taken by ghost)
Over the last few years working at game studios, it seemed like more and more was getting in between us and the enjoyment we got from developing those games. There was a lot of cynicism, resignation, audible sighs, and shaking of heads. We fantasized about applying all the cool stuff we had learned over the years to make a game purely in and of its own purpose. Created not because someone would pay us to, not because it was a hot property, but created just because we wanted to create it. After all, that's what got us so excited to figure out how to make them in the first place.
So we decided to do just that. We said goodbye to our day jobs, checked our bank balances, plopped a desk in our apartments and got to work. So far Zero Gear has been the most rewarding, nerve racking, and challenging endeavor we have ever taken on. But most importantly, we are having fun making games again. We hope you will be part of the ride!
David Marsh
David is an artist currently living in San Diego, California. Interested in creating and designing games from a very young age, David got his start developing content for Half-Life modifications while in high school. After a very uninspiring year at a university, he quit school in order to take a job as a level designer making games. After a long time hopping between closing game studios, he landed at the place where the NimbleBit team started working together.
Brian Cronin
Brian is a programmer and engineer currently living in San Francisco, California. Always harboring an interest in programming, Brian taught himself the skill while taking some classes and suffering through a stint in retail selling computers. Eventually Brian found himself working at a mobile games studio where he met up with the future NimbleBit crew.
Ian Marsh
Ian is a programmer and artist currently living in San Diego, California. He got his start toying with web and flash development which led to studying at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and graduating from UCSD with a degree in computer science. After school Ian enjoyed some time working as a webmaster and graphic designer before being drawn by fate to the same mobile studio as the rest of the NimbleBit crew.
+ big helpers +
We may be the only full time people working on Zero Gear, but without these fellows working with us we would be far behind!
Tapio Liukkonen
Tapio of
Kaamos Sound has given Zero Gear a very special audio character. From kart engines to singing, he has done whatever was needed to get the game its special sounds. Tapio hails from the frozen north of Finland near the arctic circle where it is rumored that Tapio once hid buried in the snow for 7 days to get a recording of the fabled elk of Hiisi.
